Canto is named after Andrea’s classic studio album with Italian radio songs. Alberto Bocelli, winemaker and brother of Andrea, makes this wine with real passion for the Cabernet Sauvignon originally from France. In the vineyards of Lajatico, near Pisa, the ripening season lasts longer than other areas in Tuscany. The grapes are picked by hand and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle. A powerful, luscious Cabernet Sauvignon from which only a few thousand bottles are produced annually.
All Bocelli vineyards are grown without irrigation and harvested by hand, and no pesticides are used.
